Ambarisa Prabhu's Open Letter to All the Devotees - TOVP Donations list

At the Groundbreaking Ceremony Dear Devotees and Friends,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

"Now you all together make this Vedic Planetarium very nice, so that people will come and see. From the description in the Srimad- Bhagavatam you prepare this Vedic Planetarium. My idea is to attract people of the whole world to Mayapur."
- Srila Prabhupada, 1976

This is the instruction of the Founder/Acharya of ISKCON, Srila Prabhupada. On behalf of Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir and the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation, for your thoughtful and generous participation in fulfilling this order.

This project in Sridham Mayapur of the Vedic Planetarium was the most cherished dream of Srila Prabhupada. Because Srila Prabhupada is so dear to Caitanya Mahaprabhu, after some time the work has begun in earnest and we expect to be completed in several years. By helping in this work, you are receiving incalculable blessings from the Supreme Lord.

Krishna can supply whatever money is needed to build this temple and countless others. However, He is offering us the unique opportunity to assist Him in this process, and glorify His dear most servant, Srila Prabhupada. I am so glad that you all have seized upon this once in a million lifetimes opportunity and have donated to see this beautiful and world changing temple constructed.

Srila Prabhupada wanted that our Krishna Conscious movement would confront the growing threat of atheism and voidism. He planned that Sridham Mayapur would be the headquarters of a worldwide assault on this madness, bringing the mercy of Caitanya Mahaprabhu to all the misguided souls of this age.

You are all helping in this supremely important mission. Each gift helps ensure that this Temple and the ISKCON movement will continue for many generations, and also that Mayapur will become known around the world in accordance with the desires of Srila Prabhupada and the previous acharyas.

The names of all donors to this temple will be enshrined under the Nrsimhadeva temple which is situated in the dome to the right of the main dome. Please see below the list of names we have, and notify us if you do not see yours by writing to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Once again, thank you. To receive the mercy of Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His pure devotee is the most priceless gift we can receive. I ask you to become involved in this project, give generously, and tell others. I also invite you to follow our progress on this very website in the Media Gallery section where you can see all the latest photos for the construction site.

With respect and humility,
Ambarisa das
